If your proxy is not working, follow these troubleshooting steps.
1. CHECK YOUR PLAN STATUS
Go to Dashboard → My Plans and verify your plan is still Active and has remaining bandwidth.
2. CHECK YOUR CREDENTIALS
Make sure you are using the correct username and password. Credentials are case-sensitive.
3. TEST THE CONNECTION
Run this command to test your proxy:
curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@proxy.insideproxy.net:8080 https://api.ipify.org
4. CHECK YOUR BANDWIDTH
If your plan shows 100% usage, you have used all your bandwidth. Purchase a new plan.
5. CHECK SYSTEM STATUS
Visit insideproxy.net/status.php to see if there are any ongoing issues.
6. CONTACT SUPPORT
If none of the above helps, open a support ticket with:
- Your username
- Your plan ID
- The error message or behavior you are seeing
